Mission Atlantic arrived in English Harbour, Antigua at 12.28hrs GMT, 05/02/2008.

So blue dot watchers, it's all over. For those of you that were there for the start (doesn't that seem a long time ago) I'm sure like me, you will greet their arrival with a huge amount of joy tinged with a little sadness. The lads have battled both mechanical problems with the boat and the Atlantic weather that didn't do what it was meant to. They've dragged a boat weighing almost 1 ton, using only one rower at a time, across a mighty ocean. We've shared their joy, their pain, the ups and downs and taken great pleasure in reading their 'unique' blogs. It's now time for them to end this great challenge and be with their families who are in Antigua to meet them off the boat and sleep in beds that don't move and eat real food with cutlary and well, just go for a walk, all things we take for granted. If you've followed the blogs (and the dot) and you haven't yet donated, please do so. If you have donated, again thank you for doing so and sharing the adventure with us
